> POPTAP donated to Sanford's Tribe Team in support of the RVA Brain Tumor 5K event to be held on November 2, 2019 in Richmond, Virginia.  With a goal of $175,000, as of October 25th, $215,074 has been raised by the participants, sponsors, and donors.  
GREAT CAUSE..........



> POPTAP supported the
Richmond Friends of the Homeless Charity Golf Tournament on October 14, 2019 by sponsoring a golf hole.  Funds raised will provide as many as 3,300 nourishing meals each week over the Winter months.  



   
 
> POPTAP met with VCU Massey Cancer on July 9, 2019 to learn about their Integrative Health Program offerings for patients.  It was very informative and the value to patients is wonderful.  POPTAP will provide POPTAP items to be placed in their Integrative Health Center located in the lobby of the MCV/VCU Hospital.  Check it out:  VCU Massey Integrative Health Program 



POPTAP Tops $55,000 in Donations to VCU Massey Cancer Center  
Dottie and Brian were very excited to donate $5,000 to the VCU Massey Cancer Center on January 15, 2019 and donations have now exceeded $55,000 towards a goal of $100,000.  Dr. Mark Malkin, Director of the Neuro-Oncology Program from Massey accepted the gift and was very supportive of our efforts.  Dr Malkin also gave us an informative overview of the Neuro-Oncology Program's current research status and future plans.  Dr. Malkin again emphasized to us, "rest assured we will use these funds in the most responsible way".  A BIG THANK YOU to all that support POPTAP with their generosity which contributes to valuable Brain Tumor Research efforts.  We are looking forward to a successful 2019.

POPTAP Tops $50,000 in Donations to VCU Massey Cancer Center  
Dottie and Brian were very excited to donate $23,000 to the VCU Massey Cancer Center on December 19, 2016 and donations have now exceeded $50,000.  Dr. Mark Malkin, Director of the Neuro-Oncology Program and Ocelia Hudson, Donor Engagement Coordinator from Massey accepted the gift and needless to say they were very happy and supportive of our efforts.  Dr. Malkin mentioned to us, "rest assured we will use these funds in the most responsible way".  A BIG THANK YOU to all that support POPTAP with their generosity which contributes to valuable Brain Tumor Research efforts. We are looking forward to a successful 2017.

> POPTAP was a tournament sponsor at the Make-a-Wish Charity Golf Tournament held at Brandermill CC on October 27, 2016.  Dottie and Brian were very happy to support such a worthwhile cause.  

           

> The 2016 POPTAP Charity Golf Tournament was held on Monday July 11 at Salisbury CC, Midlothian, VA., with 144 golfers participating.  Great day, event, and fundraising success. Thank you to all of our Sponsors, Donors, and Volunteers for supporting us.

> POPTAP held its 4th Annual POPTAP Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Salisbury CC in Midlothian, VA.  Proceeds will benefit the VCU Massey Cancer Center.

> Congratulations to DJ Lamar on left and Mike Casstevens (Mentor/Coach) on right who both played in the 2015 POPTAP Charity Golf Tournament and then went on to win the Gold Medal in Golf Level 3 Unified Team Play competition at the World Special Olympics held in Los Angeles, CA in late July 2015.  Very exciting and great accomplishment.

Plotkin Memorial Brain Tumor Research Fund.  Also, the third annual 2014 POPTAP Charity Golf Tournament in association with the McDonald's Mid-Atlantic Clay Court Championships was held on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Salisbury Country Club. We appreciate and want to give thanks to those for supporting this worthwhile cause.

> POPTAP hosted the 3rd Annual POPTAP Charity Golf Tournament in association with the 2014 McDonald's Mid-Atlantic Clay Court Championships on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. 





POPTAP was a sponsor at the Special Olympics Area 31 Golf Tournament held on July, 30, 2012 at The Crossings GC in Glen Allen, VA.  The POPTAP team members pictured below are Pam Luse, Dottie Harkins, and Kim Harrington standing by POPTAP's Hole Sponsorship sign.  It was a fun event and over $4,000 was raised for the Special Olympics athletes.
