Dottie and Brian were very excited to donate $5,000 to the VCU Massey Cancer Center on January 15, 2019 and donations have now exceeded $55,000 towards a goal of $100,000. Dr. Mark Malkin, Director of the Neuro-Oncology Program from Massey accepted the gift and was very supportive of our efforts. Dr Malkin also gave us an informative overview of the Neuro-Oncology Program’s current research status and future plans. Dr. Malkin again emphasized to us, “rest assured we will use these funds in the most responsible way”. A BIG THANK YOU to all that support POPTAP with their generosity which contributes to valuable Brain Tumor Research efforts. We are looking forward to a successful 2019.
