From beginning to end, the message of the power of positive thinking and prayer, or POPTAP, became a sign of strength and hope for Dottie Harkins during her brain surgery. Dottie’s surgery was a success and since then, POPTAP has taken on a life of its own!
Now in it’s fourth year, the Poptap Inc. Charity Golf Tournament at Salisbury Country Club will donate its proceeds to the Ronald M. Plotkin Memorial Brain Tumor Research Fund at Massey. The golf tournament kicks off a week of high caliber tennis featuring college and professional players and coaches from all over the country. We hope to see you there!
POPTAP, an acronym for the Power of Positive Thinking and Prayer, is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds in support of brain tumor research and awareness and to bring hope to those that face medical or other life challenges. This annual golf tournament in association with the Mid-Atlantic Clay Court Championships will contribute proceeds to the Ronald M. Plotkin Memorial Brain Tumor Research Fund at the VCU Massey Cancer Center. The golf tournament kicks off a week of high caliber tennis featuring college and professional players and coaches from all over the country. Please plan to join us for a day of golf, fun, fellowship, and celebration – all with the goal of raising funds for this worthwhile cause.
